Address: Storgata 93

Arrival: Via Storgata, parking available on the north side of the building

Accessible restroom: No

Elevator or step-free entrance: No

Wheelchair ramp: Yes, but steep
Note! Due to narrow doors leading into the cinema, the wheelchair must have a maximum width of 67 cm.

Verdensteatret Cinemateket unfortunately does not currently have optimal universal design. The building is owned by Tromsø municipality, and there are plans to improve accessibility, but it is uncertain when this will be carried out. For wheelchair access, staff can either place a ramp at the entrance to the café or physically lift the wheelchair in, either via Storgata or through the emergency exit on Havnegata.

We recommend that you contact us before purchasing a ticket so we can accommodate your needs as best as possible.
