The Northern Lights Festival 2025 will be a 10-day music celebration encompassing a wide range of genres, innovative collaborations, and world premieres for both young and old. Join us for the opening celebration at Bakrommet on Thursday evening!

Throughout the evening, you’ll get the chance to experience a euphoric festival director and an exclusive performance by Kohib feat. Lydia Waits.

Kohib has a magical ability to blend the deep atmosphere of underground clubs with Scandinavian, dark-blue melancholy. It’s as mysterious as it is playful. The artist has had a long-standing collaboration with songwriter, musician, and vocalist Lydia Waits. The duo, originating from Tromsø, draws from various genres to create a completely unique and harmonious existence. House meets soul, pop meets electronica. You’ll be taken into the duo’s universe through wandering synthesizers, turquoise basslines, and razor-sharp vocals.
