Åtte årstider

Composer Andreas Håkestad has written this piece inspired by the eight seasons of Sapmi, creating a different movement for each season.

Each movement builds on the previous one and thus the music undergoes a gradual transformation from movement to movement like the changes of nature. Dissonant elements suggest that climate change will affect nature and life.
