Have you ever wondered how a heavy rap concert would be acoustic with brilliant musicians? When one of Norways most unique rappers comes to The Northern Lights Festival, you can experience just that.
The rapper Jon-Are Masternes, aka Klish, is one of Norways most hard working rappers. The artist from Tromsø mix his smart lyrics with cloudy and serious lines with cool anthems.
As a introvert, Klish presents truly honost lyrics, or as he self proclaims “Norways most honost liar”.
The band who backs him up is pianist Eirik Fjelde (Dagny, Vuvo, Chris Holsten), bass player Morten Stene (The band called Oh, Nova Onda) and Frode Larsen (The band called Oh, Kantona).
Heavy 808 drums and high flying synths are replaced with a grand piano, percussions and a bass guitar. And let us not forget, in the center of it all, Klish with his quirky and conceptual lyrics.
The concert is produced of the band collective North Of.
