LGT Young Soloists is an award-winning string ensemble consisting of young soloists aged 14 - 23 from 15 different nations. Since its beginning in 2013, the ensemble has received excellent reviews for both its concerts and album releases. It is a pleasure to present this talented group of young musicians at The Northern Lights Festival!
These young soloists have performed all over the world. Two years after the ensemble was founded they became the first youth ensemble in the world to release music on the renowned record company RCA Red Sea. On the occasion of Beethoven's 250th birthday, they released Beethoven RECOMPOSED, which went to the top of Apple's Music Video Classical list in 40 different countries. The ensemble has been nominated several times for Opus Klassik - the prestigious German record award for classical recordings.

LGT Young Soloists will be performing works by Philip Glass, Airat Ichmouratov and Astor Piazzolla.
