Nils Petter Molvær og Tromsø Storband

Tromsø Big Band has visited the Northern Lights Festival a number of times, and has played with Nils Landgren, Lisa Simone and Jon Faddis amongs others. This time they have invited none other than Nils Petter Molvær to join them. Nils Petter has captivated audiences all over the world with his music both as a trumpeter, composer and producer. Leader of Tromsø Big Band, Fred Glesnes, says it will be a pleasure to share the stage with Molvær and play his music.

Nils Petter Molvær is recognized both at home and abroad, and is known for his distinctive sound and for combining jazz and electronic music. He has received a total of seven Spellemann awards, four as a solo artist.
