The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse

The four rider are are Conquest, War, Famine and Death. These four riders bring about the end of the world according to The Book of Revelation, and are known as The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. The story of the horsemen mirrors todays situation with a new war raging in Europe.

This concert performance combines various ensembles and music by Mahler , Britten and Shostakovich. A narrator ties it all together with historical texts and picture presentations.
