Program 2024
Welcome to a cabaret evening in the spirit of Brecht, Weill and Eisler!
Lyrics by Bertolt Brecht, musical gems from Kurt Weill/ Elisabeth Hauptmann and Hanns Eisler, and Ida Holten Worsøe's refreshing and vital performances. Combined, this will be quite an encounter with post-war cabaret music.
Worsøe became an audience favourite in Tromsø after starring in musicals such as Cabaret and Chicago at Hålogaland Teater and has established herself as one of the country's most exciting vocalists. Kalle Moberg is one of our very best accordion players, sharing the stage with superb bassist Per Zanussi.
The cabaret presents a collection of short stories in which Brecht's personal gallery is opened and unfolded in a new context. Several of the songs are familiar to many, but some unknown works have found a home in this fantasy universe - where humour and dystopia go hand in hand.
On stage: Ida Holten Worsøe (vocal), Kalle Moberg (accordion), Per Zunassi (bass)
