Marit Larsen and Ensemble Noor

Marit Larsen became a pop sensation in the late 1990s as one half of the duo M2M. Their debut single "Don't Say You Love Me" quickly became a global megahit, and together they sold over 12 million singles and albums worldwide.

In recent years, Marit has been very successful as a solo artist, and has become one of Norway's foremost composers and songwriters. She has released four albums, the most recent being the critically acclaimed "When The Morning Comes", which is also the first album she has produced herself.

In 2016, Marit invited us to join the corner of the bar where Joni Mitchell and Gillian Welch are sitting. More strings, more soul, a path beyond pure pop music. A path we might have suspected that Marit would venture onto, without quite knowing when.

At this concert Marit is joined by a string quartet, presenting hits such as "Under the Surface", "Don't save me" and "If a song could get me you".
