Sometimes it’s not enough to just tidy up what’s already there — sometimes you need a thorough clean and a fresh start. Today, we’re very excited to welcome you to the new Nordlysfestivalen.no!

What’s new?

For us, there’s a lot going on behind the scenes that makes the website easier to work with. For you, here are the biggest changes:

• New menu bar that makes it easier to navigate
• New program page with filters designed to help you find exactly what you’re looking for
• Automatic alt-text on images (and of course, we can edit these wherever the automatic text isn’t quite right)
• The festival newspaper is now “In Depth” articles on our site! We no longer have a digital festival newspaper at Nordlys.no; it now lives on our website as articles, making it easier to find all the festival fun. This also allows us to update continuously with new in-depth articles. “In Depth” will be gradually filled with a couple of new articles each week leading up to the festival, so be sure to check back for updates.

A little patience

‍In collaboration with TANK, we’re still making changes here and there, but we can’t catch everything before the site goes live. Please let us know if you spot anything that looks completely off — hopefully it’s already on our list, but we might miss something. And of course, feel free to give feedback if you see something you really like!
