Himmelskip is the Oslo band that delivers catchy and challenging compositions with elements of folk, rock and jazz. It all unites into a unique musical landscape, with guitars, pedal steel, harmonium and various percussion instruments.
Despite the relatively short running time, the band has undergone extensive concert activities and has garnered great acclaim from the public and press. The members, ranging in age from 20 to 26, show maturity in their compositional abilities, and offer an energetic live show, consisting of hefty improvised soundscapes, catchy solos and superb interplay.
