Čuovgamáinnas is a performance for the very youngest, where joik, movement, and light invite you on a journey through the winter darkness. Here, there is room for wonder, play, and curiosity—and perhaps a new friendship?
The performance is created by Kompani Bárrogiera. Using joik and movement as central expressions, the company aims to create an intimate, wordless meeting place between performers and the audience.
Kompani Bárrogiera is a project-based Sea Sámi performing arts company consisting of Gøril Nilsen and Lisa Pedersen. The company specializes in modern Sea Sámi performing arts and has previously created the audiovisual installation “Mii leat//Mii gávdnot,” which has been exhibited both nationally and internationally.
