Children's performance with Trio no Treble
Musikkfabrikken is an interactive, playful, and Relæxt concert for children aged 5 and up.
Through familiar melodies and genre-bending play, Trio no Treble shows just how fun and diverse classical music can be. Children get to explore how a single melody – such as Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star – can be transformed into everything from rock and pop to jazz and folk music. The performance combines humor, interaction, and musical curiosity, concluding with the virtuosity and energy of Monti's Czardas.
True to their unconventional name, Trio no Treble is a trio featuring viola, cello, and double bass – a trio without a treble, consisting only of dark voices and deep resonance. The trio consists of Ivan Penjin (viola), Eivind Rossbach Heier (cello), and Jostein Bolås Brødreskift (double bass).
