Ad Astra is back again this year with another performance filled with dance and creative joy. Perhaps it is the choreographers of the future who show their first works?
Ad Astra is a performance for young dancers from the School of Culture, where they get to frolic as creative creators and performing dance artists. The performance gives students the opportunity to explore their own artistic point of view, either as a dancer or choreographer. Several works have premiered and both teachers and students actively participate in the creative process.
The program is composed of new choreography and some existing repertoire from contemporary dance, jazz dance and classical ballet. Altogether, it becomes a diverse and exciting mix that challenges the dancers through the multifaceted expression of the art.
