PROGRAM 2026
A musical journey of discovery

Tromsøværingen, Peter Estdahl, sees himself as a breakaway from the world he grew up in, from the norms that shaped him, and from the expectations placed on him. He felt an inner calling to explore and find his own path well away from the Christian environment he grew up in, where traditions and expectations have always been strong.
Lazy Pete is known for his funky and soulful live performances. He debuted with the single Brother in 2011, which received good rotation on NRK P3. Since then, he has worked with the Norwegian Broadcasting Orchestra with David Bowie interpretations. After his jazz studies at the Norwegian Academy of Music, he has gone back to making his own music again. With Lars Horntvedt in the producer's chair, and roots in everything from neon lights and underground clubs to the silence of nature, he creates music with a lot of heart, pain and soul.
And a good dose of lazy good time!
