PROGRAM 2026
Writer and actor Sven Henriksen tells the story of his own childhood and growing up with an abusive father

Welcome to a heart-wrenching and close monologue performance where the author himself stands on stage and gives you an insight into his own story
In Daddy's Little Boy, we are taken back to the early 1960s and follows the little boy who is subjected to his father's violence, is baptized into Jehovah's Witnesses, and later manages to tear himself loose and embark on a life of freedom that will not prove to be trouble-free. This is a story about a strong little man who manages to rise again and again and finally finds his place, his great love and a career as an actor and writer. The book, of the same name, received considerable national attention when it was published in 2023.
