Are you ready for a mix of music, dance and fun? Dina Konradsen, Jo Einar Jansen and Tone Ingvaldsen, who are behind the club concept Folkemølje, are now pleased to invite the youngest to a very own folk music party!
Club Dagdrønn opens the doors to a magical meeting between tradition, music, dance and play.Welcome to all small paws, dancing lions and curious souls. Parents, grandparents and children of all ages are of course warmly welcome to attend!
At Klubb Dagdrønn we create bridges between everyday life and history, explore the boundaries between tradition and contemporary times, dance and shake loose in the same vein. Never danced folk dance before? Don't despair: Tone is on the floor showing her most stylish dance moves, and it's allowed to herm! Here there is a danger of goofy dancing, surprising songs and prancing rhythms.
Musicians Dina and Jo Einar play our braid with a combination of live fiddle music and DJ tables. Here you will find amazing performances of traditional music in all imaginable forms — from jazzified folk tunes to traditional metal material, joik in electronic costume and traditional playing.
WHAT IS RELÆXT?
Relæxte concerts are open to all, but are especially adapted for children, adults and families who find it challenging to attend regular concerts.
We make small adjustments to create a Relæxt experience. For example, we dim the light in the hall, but never completely turn it off. We do not use stage smoke and strobe lighting, and we have adjusted the sound level in the highest peaks. In addition, you will receive a visual guide in advance describing the entire experience from your arrival at the venue until the end of the concert.
Most importantly: Relæxt is hush-free zone. You are allowed to both talk loudly, laugh, cry, tickle and shout, and you can go in and out of the hall at your own convenience.
